Terms of Service

By using MOMO (the study platform at this domain) you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

The service

MOMO turns your own study notes into quizzes, mock exams with AI marking, podcasts, video overviews, flashcards and trackers. AI output can be wrong — check anything that matters against your actual course material before an exam. MOMO is a study aid, not a guarantee of grades.

Your account

• Sign-in is via Google. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Don't create accounts to farm the free AI allowance.
• We can suspend accounts that abuse the service (automation attacks, scraping, spam on the Ideas board, attempts to access other users' data).

Your content

• Notes you upload stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to store and process them so the features work for you.
• Only upload material you're allowed to use. If a rights holder objects to something in your notebooks, we may remove it.
• Ideas posted on the public board can be read by other users and may shape what gets built — don't post anything private there.

Your AI keys

If you connect your own AI provider keys, your use of those providers is between you and them (their pricing, their terms). We pass your requests through with your ordered key stack and store nothing. Keep every key secret; you can reorder or remove them in Settings at any time.

Free allowance & fair use

Free accounts get a daily allowance of AI requests on shared keys. Limits may change as usage grows — the Settings page always shows the current state. Automated or scripted access to the AI endpoints is not allowed.

Premium & refunds

• Premium is a subscription (monthly or yearly) that removes ads, raises the daily AI allowance, and doubles your Ideas votes. Prices are shown at checkout, localized to your currency.
• Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record — your purchase contract is with Paddle, and their standard refund policy applies. Cancel anytime; Premium stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Founder pricing is locked for as long as the subscription stays active; if it lapses, the current price applies on resubscribing.

Limited promotional access

MOMO may offer a limited free Premium period through a campaign link. Unless the campaign page says otherwise, the offer is for the first 10 eligible new Google accounts, one reward per Google account, and has no cash value. We may reject duplicate, automated, or abusive sign-ups and may close the offer once the stated cap is reached.

Ads

While AdSense approval is pending, eligible signed-in Free accounts may see clearly labeled, in-flow Adsterra placements. MOMO does not use popups, popunders, forced redirects, or ads that cover study content; Premium removes ads. After AdSense confirms the site, the network may be switched. The account is configured for general-audience inventory.

No warranty / liability

MOMO is provided "as is", built and run by one student. To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost data, lost marks, or indirect damages. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes & termination

Features may change as the platform grows. If a change makes these terms meaningfully different, the date above changes. You can stop using MOMO anytime; email us to delete your account entirely.
